FY 2020-2024  The Network consists of thirty-one affiliated residency programs located within the WWAMI region – Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho.

Many of our Wyoming ACP Chapter members across the state are involved with the WWAMI medical student education program, and our chapter sponsors awards for WWAMI The WWAMI program has been housed with Western Montana AHEC since 2015.

WWAMI is an acronym for the five states that participate in this program: Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. The UWSOM curriculum, content and testing is the same at all WWAMI sites. Physicians must be active members of the Wyoming Medical Society and have submitted a completed application to the WMS office no later than August 15, 2019. Applications can be completed online, downloaded and sent electronically to info@wyomed.org, or printed and mailed to P.O. WMS is accepting applications for any physician member of WMS who wants to be considered for appointment to this Committee. The physician selected will serve a three-year term with an option to serve a second three-year term. The WWAMI Track program allows a select group of students to be scheduled for a minimum number of weeks (24 weeks for Patient Care Phase*, 12 weeks for the Explore & Focus Phase*) in one specific city or state in the WWAMI region.
